Tom D. Jones Landscapes/Nature Hasselblad Master 2012

Born in 1971, Tom started up his first photo studio in 1999 in partnership with his wife Sylvia—a fellow photographer. “I’ve always had an interest in fine art photography,” says Tom. “I create images with tight compositions, peaceful impressions and with a lot of depth.” Tom’s Hasselblad H3DII-39 helps him achieve ultimate quality. “My 28mm and my 35-90mm zoom are the two lenses I use the most,” he says, “and I also regularly work with an HTS 1.5 tilt and shift adapter on the 28mm to give myself an extra focusing tool that’s powerful and creative.” The “Evoke” theme excites Tom and he hopes his work will help to draw attention to the damage being done globally to the environment. “My landscape images will reflect the beauty and power of our planet,” he says.
