Pepe Castro has built a huge following for his weekly blog, where he features a portrait of a celebrity and tells the story of how he and his faithful Hasselblad have managed to create yet another memorable image.
A great portrait can speak volumes about a subject, but it’s always fascinating to look behind the picture and to hear more about the image in front of you, to learn how it came about, how it was set up and the unfolding of the shoot itself. That added colour provides an extra dimension and helps you to understand the full story that’s being told to you.
