It takes a special eye to see the beauty in a building, such as the Drax Power Station, that's been built with a strictly industrial purpose in mind, but photographer Monty Rakusen undoubtedly has the gift. The Drax project is typical of the kind of story that has the depth to sell to a worldwide audience because not only is this one of the largest power stations in the UK, but it's also a world leader in biomass fuel power generation and potentially of relevance to a whole host of environmentally-related stories. This ability to see beyond the sometimes grubby face of industry defines Rakusen's work and marks him out as a very special talent in his field.
